The Easiest Way to Collect Social Media Inspiration
Without Losing It đź‘€
The other day, I ended up on Reddit (as one does)… And started reading how people save inspiration they find online.
I thought I’d find a few tips.
What I found instead? A wild collection of methods I did not see coming. đź‘€
People were saying things like:
I screenshot stuff and send it to myself on Telegram.
I literally text myself links.
Everything’s in my IG saved folder… or maybe Pinterest… or Notes?
I have paper everywhere. Real paper. With notes. It’s chaos.

Some think they have ADHD

We all have our version of the ’’content stash’’:
Tabs we never close.
Screenshots we forget about.
Bookmarks in folders we never revisit.
Stuff we swore we’d organize one day.
But the real problem here?
It’s not saving ideas. It’s finding them when you actually need them.
And on top of that, collaboration is a whole other struggle - because let’s be honest, most of you are still looking for a tool that does everything in one place.
Then I read something that really made me pause
Someone wrote about deleting everything - his second brain:
all his notes
highlights
to-do lists
Systems he built over the years gone in seconds. And he said it brought relief.

Because his system had stopped helping him. He was lost in so many things he’d saved but simply couldn’t find when he needed them.
That kind of overwhelm can be a heavy burden.
And I get why he did what he did.
For years, he’d been using the wrong system to organize his knowledge and notes. The tool that was supposed to help him think better had become a weight he couldn’t carry.
That’s why I’m careful about which tools I use
Because tools do more than just store information - they shape how we think. They affect what we focus on and how we make sense of things.
A tool can either hold us back or set us free.
If it’s messy and confusing, it creates noise and steals our attention. But if it’s simple and easy to use, it helps our minds be creative and productive.
Choosing a tool is not just about what works. It’s about how we want to work and feel while using it. It’s about protecting something very valuable - our attention.
At the end of the day, the best tool is the one that helps us focus on our ideas without adding more clutter.
I don’t want another place to hoard info and feel guilty about
I want something that helps me catch inspiration quickly, stay organized without stress, and collaborate without chaos.
And the system that makes that possible?
Let's you save inspiration from anywhere, the moment it shows up
Doesn’t interrupt your flow - capture ideas in seconds, keep going with your day.
Keeps everything organized and searchable so you can find what you need when you need it
Lets you share and collaborate without 47 Slack messages
Helps you turn ideas into actual content
That’s why I chose Collabwriting.
🟡 I see something useful → I highlight it, save it, and move on.
🟡 I group my research into Topics - such as campaigns or specific clients.
🟡 I add tags like #inspo, #visuals, or #quotes so I can find things fast.
🟡 When I need feedback, I just share a Cowrite link with my team or client.
🟡 If I want to reuse something, I drag & drop it straight into Notion, Docs, or Gmail.
🟡 And if I don’t have time to organize immediately, I save it to my Inbox and sort it later.
It keeps my inspiration within reach, without adding more noise to a day.
I don’t need 10 different tools to keep my ideas in check. Just one that works the way my brain does.
The Difference the Right System Can Make
You stop wasting time hunting for lost ideas
You finally use your inspiration instead of losing it
You keep your team on the same page without endless messages
You avoid tab overload and stay focused on what matters
So, if your current “system” is a mix of screenshots, notes, and good intentions… You’re not alone.
BUT you also don’t have to keep doing it that way.
Take a look, get inspired, and see how simple it can be to keep everything organized.
